we are living i a difficult time.many christens are struggling and can not seem to find out why nothing is working any more. some are giving up and turning away. but for those who will remain faithful and determined to know and follow Jesus,the best is yet to come.i believe that Jesus wants to pour out his blessings on us. so we must be in a state of mine to receive.
when we study the life of the apostle Paul in philippians 3;8-12(please read) it is easy to understand that he (Paul) was dedicated to live for Jesus.Paul reveals that his entire existence is totally based and centered on Jesus Christ. many believers in Jesus Christ seem to be living a life of faith as a continuous struggle. Paul dose however talk about the joy and peace in believing a place of comfort and rest. this sounds great to me,and it should to you as well. by faith we know that Jesus provides this peace and comfort for us, all we need is to believe.
Faith simply means to trust, believe or have confidants in. so there is a place in Jesus where it becomes joyful to trust and serve him. when i say to my friends just believe the lord will see you through this or just have faith, the comment often is "it has come to this! has it?" ...i will often reply, just remember what the lord has brought you through already we have no reason not to trust and believe. so then we can safely say that it is only in knowing Jesus that we can truly trust,believe and understand the joy of faith.
when you/we search and study the bible we should do so that we/you may know Him better and not to find some secret formula or to empower our selves to compete with others with biblical knowledge,then you will find that your relationship with Jesus will but you in a position to have your ever need met. i believe this is why Jesus said , seek first the kingdom of God and all things will added unto you. (NOTICE WILL BE) ...IT DOSE NOT SAY CAN BE OR MIGHT BE, he is saying to put God first in your life and all you do.
the truth of the prosperity message from the WORD has proven the validity,authority and integrity of the bible. some have become selfish,self-centered and have no desire to serve or to know GOD, they only want what HE well give or bless them with. many have never entered into knowing HIM or having a personal relationship with GOD. they have heard of Him or know about Him but really do not know Him. because they do not know him they believe things about him that simply are not true. so do not just look for some get rich quick scheme or some one to lean on in times of trouble,but study the word of GOD to know him more intimately.
when you know some one, you know their likes and dislikes. you must study the word to know what God likes and what he dislikes. GOD knows you, He created you,he even knows the number of hair on your head,He also knows what you are thinking and the intent of your heart.
some will say i do not know what God's will is. but when you know GOD ,you will know his will. this is the reason you want to study His word and want to know Him.many christens will say God never speaks to them, that is because they do not spend time with Him or know Him,yet they will very quickly identify with the voice of satin (the devil). maybe this would mean they are fellowshipping with the wrong fellow.
yesterday my wife, how i married in 1972 called me from an out of area number ,instantly i detected her voice and was with joy to here from her ,if my wife were to start talking in a room with many people in it and i was not able to see her, her voice would immediately become apparent to me, the only way you can get to that place is to fellowship and to be in a personal relationship with each other.
I know God because i spend time with HIM. I know his voice because i've heard His voice often.
when you really know Him, you will know His voice and have the joy of faith.
the greatest desire in Paul's life was to know God . the greatest desire that your life should be to know God. and when you know him,you will not have to worry about your needs.you will not have to struggle with your faith and there will be great joy in trusting Jesus and believing in Him.
when you are face to face with impossible issues and your back is against the wall,,your circumstances are beyon comprehension,you must then declare,I know in whom i believe.and HE IS ABLE.

time is running out,JESUS is reurning
There are signs of Jesus returning soon. it would not be wise to be asleep or procrastinate and be caught off guard. we are commended to go to all the ends of the earth to tell ever one about Jesus,his returning and salvation in eternal life.the greatest thing we can do is bring souls to Jesus ,for the heartbeat of GOD is souls.
in Mathew 24;34-35 we read, verily,i say unto you,this generation shall not pass,till all these things be fulfilled. heave and earth shall pass away, but my word shall not pass away.
I believe these scriptures refer to Israel becoming a nation in 1948. Jesus is saying that the generation that sees this come to pass is the generation that will not pass away. so this is infect the most exciting time to live!GOD has given us the privilege to live in a time like this time. We are the generation that will see the LORD Jesus Christ return.
Matthew 24;42-47
So be prepared,for you do not know what day the Lord is coming. Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch for them,so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for an unannounced return.Are you a wise and faithful servant of the Lord? Have i given you the task of managing My household,to feed my children day by day? Blessing on you if I return and find you faithfully doing your work. I will put such faithful ones in charge of everything I own!
My priorities have change because i know that Jesus is coming soon. some of the things that were so important to me before are not important to me any more. i simply do not want to use all my faith and energy on material things.they're not important. I want to apply all my faith to winning souls and taking as many as possible to heaven with me. When you make winning souls your first priority,all of your needs will be met!
Winning souls is the highest priority of GOD.All His plans and purpose from the beginning of time up to this very hour,have centered on man's redemption. We must be at work to fulfill the vision of winning the lost feeding the sheep,and making disciples of new converts. If we are faithful to this commission and continue to stand firm in the faith,we will soon here Him say,Well done thou good and faithful servant.

OUR GOD IS IN CONTROL
the times we are living in are exciting! we are seeing the words of the prophets fulfilled right before our eyes. truly we are living in the last days. we must start living each day as thou Jesus is coming back today. this way of thinking was the reason the early church was so powerful. Jesus told them he was returning in the same way that they seen him leave ,and that they all were to be about the fathers business till he returned. Jesus told them to preach and teach to the uttermost part of the world,healing the sick and raising the dead in Christ.because they did not know just when He was returning,they lived and acted as though it might be any moment or any day.
we fine in Acts 3 that heaven is holding back until all of his mission(things are) is complete. I believe the Holy Spirit is working in this world right now to set the stage for this glorious event.
In these days ,it is absolutely necessary for all of us to be established in the WORD OF GOD.
satin also knows that his time is short, so the devil is also set the stage with many things and situations in this world to deceive us. There are those who are messengers for satin, that are trying to lead people astray.the Bible tells us that in the last days,that many will fall for doctrines 0f the devil.(1timothy4;1). this is the reason that we owe it to ourselves to become and stay established in GOD'S WORD so that we might not and can not be seduced by false teachings.
Many spiritual battles have been won,but the war is not over and rages on. we must therefore continue to come against the strong holds of satin and fight a good fight of faith ,so that we may over come by satin . no matter what it looks like in the natural,GOD IS IN CONTROL.I certainly do not want to give up or give in to satin at a time when the greatest event in the entire history of the church is about to be fulfilled.
We need to know what the WORD OF GOD says about these situations happening in the world instead of falling for what the media says about it.many prophecies have already taken place, the walls of Jericho fell, the walls of Berlin fell also.GOD is moving,and setting everything in place so that Bible prophecy will be fulfilled. you/we can not keep GOD from doing what HE said HE would do.
we must get moving, setting every thing in order, we must get stirred up. time is running out. we have the promise of HIS glorious return. when the whole world is covered in darkness,the glory of the LORD shall be seen upon us.GOD is going to raise up a glorious Church in the mids of this dark hour the world has never seen.
Haggai 2;6-9 says For the lord of hosts says, in just a little while I will Begin to shake the heavens and the earth-and the oceans,too,and the dry lands,I will shake ALL nations,and the desire of ALL nations shell come to this Temple,and I will fill this place with My glory,says the Lord of host. the further splendor of this Temple will be greater then the splendor of the first one.for I have plenty of silver and gold to do it.and here I will give peace, says the LORD.
HE IS SETTING THE STAG,OUR LORD GOD IS STILL IN CONTROL

walking throw the valley pslams 23
psalm 23 is all about getting throw the tornadoes and earthquakes of life. when turbulence strikes in your life,its what happens in you that will determine what happens to you. at the first indication of disaster in you life,stay calm and keep up your faith,trust and confidants in God's ability to bring you through what ever is happening in life.
i have some interesting experiences to share with you.
a. bad,difficult,hard ship or a crises in your life will not last for ever 2nd Corinthians 4;17 and 18 says,these troubles and suffering of ours are,after all,quite small and wouldn't last vary long.yet this short time of distress will result on GODS richest blessings upon us forever and ever.so we do not look at what we can see right now ,the trouble all around us,but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen.the troubles will soon be over,but the joys to come will last for ever.
b. these troubles will try to wear you out,but keep you faith do not let them wear you out. act.27;20 tells us,the terrible storm raged unabated many days,until at last all hope was gone.
c. storms in your life can cause you to lose your sense of direction. Hebrews12 1&2 lat us lay aside every encumbrance and let us run endurance the race that is set be for us, KEEP YOU EYES FOCUSED ON JESUS.
d. turmoil and disaster in life can bring upon you an overwhelming sense of failure. mark4;38-teacher do you not care that we perish.
e. your mine, your thinking or you attitude in a storm can either make or break you.proverbs23;7 ....as a man thinks within himself so he is.
so let us be encouraged and strengthen one another and do not let the enemy steal your joy or steal your faith in him who you have believed in and let the enemy not steal the word of GOD FROM YOUR HEART.NO MATTER WHAT YOU ARE FACING RIGHT NOW,GOD IS ABLE TO SEE YOU THROUGH TO THE OTHER SIDE VICTORIOUSLY.
when you experience difficult things in your life, remember these important thoughts
defeat come from looking back
distraction comes from looking around
discourage comes from looking down and deliverance comes from looking up
GOD IS ON YOUR SIDE AND WILL ENABLE YOU TOBE VICTORIOUS IN AND THROUGH DIFFICULT TIMES.

A PERSONAL STRUGGLE HOPE and security
It seems that i as many others have struggled with the word HOPE, almost as we do with the word wish.when we look at in the dictionary we find that HOPE is yearning with anticipation and expectation for something to happen in our favor.a definition from the early century means to confidently look forward to ,and to intensely or fully expect something to happen. do you desire something to happen in life?do you desire to have your whole house hold saved or your marriage to be saved? do you desire to be out of dept,and to help meet the needs of others and give into the work of GOD? that HOPE or anticipation can be the anchor of your soul. HOPE helps you set divinely-inspired goals.
lets look at the word security to keep from moving or losing or anchor, anchor means to keep something firmly in place,to keep something from moving slipping or drifting. HOPE can keep our soul, which is made up of our mind, will,emotions, and thinking faculties, steadfast in turbulent water. when the waves are dashing against you ship, and your in the middle of a violent storm, the anchor of hope well serve its purpose to keep you at rest. it is that hope that keeps you from slipping,sliding or drifting into troubled waters. we experience much insecurity or a great battle in our mind,when i have prayed,trusted and believed GOD for certain things, and your head starts telling you there's no way this is gong to happen,HOPE is the expectation that will secure and anchor our soul and straighten up your thinking.
Hope will keep hope will keep us at rest,firm,steadfast and in place when our mind is being bombarded by thoughts of giving up or letting go.
Psalm42;4-11 David says to take courage,my soul! do you remember those times,(how could i/we forget them) when you led a great procession to the temple on the festival days sing with joy praising the LORD? why then be downcast? Why be discouraged and sad? HOPE IS IN GOD!i shell yet praise him again. yes i shell praise him for his help.Yet i am standing here depressed and gloomy,but i will meditate upon your kindness to this lovely land where the Jordan river flows and where mount Hermon and mount Mizar stand.all your billows and waves have gone over me,and floods of sorrow pour upon me like a thundering cataract.yet day by day the LORD pours out his steadfast love upon me,through the night i sing his songs and pray to GOD who gives me life. o GOD my rock,I cry "why have you forsaken me? why must i suffer these attacks from my enemies?"their taunts Pearce me like a fatal wound; again and again they scoff ,where is that GOD of yours?" but o my soul,don't be discouraged.don't be upset.expect GOD to act.for i know i shell again have plenty of reason to praise him for all that he will do .he is my help he is my GOD!
so do not forget all those times GOD answered our prayers and preformed miracles in our life.
remember all those imposable situations HE has brought us out of will cause us to rise up on the inside of us and anchor our soul! we have to make up our mind ,will,emotions and thinking faculties line-up with what the Word of GOD says. we have to tell our soul to have HOPE,to not give up, to trust GOD!
so then we must address hopelessness the definition is;despondent,void of hope,and despair.have you ever seen anyone in total despair? all thoughts of changing is gone,and they can't even imagine life being different.hopeless means incurable, or irreparable. but thank GOD,we have the giver of hope on the inside of us.as long as we have hope in GOD, we have an anchor for our soul.Romans15;4 for whatsoever things where written afortime were written for our learning,that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. the scriptures give us COMFORT,HOPE AND REST.so we must dwell on what GOD says to us about our circumstances.
Then comes faith, faith is a calm assurance that GOD will completely take care of us and meet our every need. our mind,will,emotion and thinking faculties must rest in expectation, anticipation, and in the desire that GOD has for you. whatever situation we are in, know that the WORD of GOD has been written for our learning and our comfort. The scriptures will be soothing to your mind.
Whatever it is that you are desiring;marital healing finanical breakthrough,loved ones saved,we are to abound in hope. we need to expect these things to happen in our lives. Hope is a vital ingredient. you must have it. in every situation you need to go to the Word of GOD. the bible is our guide book with which we judge ever thing with,our road map for direction, the word of GOD has the answer to ever situation that comes our way and will bring comfort in every need, the word of GOD will fill our life and make us alive

For those in Christ,these promises are not only a source of happiness or comfort to our gaols, our life.They are also a cornerstone of our true faith and courage. we can be assured that our sins will be cleaned up ,sifted through, screen out and hidden in by the sacrifice of Jesus. When GOD looks to us, HE doesn't see us, HE sees the ONE who surrounds us.this means that failure should not be a concern for us . our victory is secure. how could you not be courageous

a massage from the past
the following notes were dated at 11:45 a.m. on July 9/1997 and left behind in a particular place for me to find at a later date, this individual obviously had/has a great concern for myself and my spiritual well being in Christ Jesus and in my daily walk with the lord.
this massage could not and would not have been well received by myself at a time of great disappointment.
read carefully as you read it may well apply and be helpful in your life.remember satin comes to steel and to destroy,however scripture dose assure us that all things work together for the good for all how love HIM.
the litter;
you are special. infect you are HIS treasure! HE considers you the most valuable of all HIS creations. in Psalm 8;3-5 the psalmist is reflecting on the greatest of GOD and writes, "when i consider thy heavens,the work of your fingers,the moon and the stares which though has ordained; what is man that thou art mindful of him? and the son of men,that thou visits him? for thou hast made him a little lower than the angels,and hast crowned him with glory and honer."
GOD has crowned you with glory and honer! YOU are GODS prized possession! You are more important than all His handiwork. And you need to see yourself in that light. you are not that old man anymore if you are born again. the very divine nature of God is within you and the blood of Jesus flows in your vains! you are of a royal family in the spirit realm! you have a crown on you that can't be seen the natural eye,but you can walk in that honour because you are highly favored by GOD. there are some people who do not receive victory in their lives because of such low image of them self.JESUS commended us to love one another as we love our self.there are people who hate themselves and can not for give themselves for even the most miner mistakes they have made. this causes people to hate themselves, creating a low self-esteem . how can you then love someone else?
low self-esteem is a result of a lack of knowledge,the lack of not accepting God's grace of forgiveness. but when you know you have been crowned with glory and honor, then confidence will spring up in your inner man, and you will have the courage to face anything. many christens are ling way below their privileges because they don't know that they are highly favoured by God.so they don't expect good things to happen. revelation knowledge will cause you to see yourself the way GOD sees you-crowned with glory and honer! he sees you highly favored and successful in everything you set your hand to do.
when you truly believe that God has crowned you with glory and honor, you will take authority over adverse circumstances in your life and expect God to turn adversity into victory! doubt and insecurity will vanish as you become more and more conscious of Gods favor in your life.
in John 12;26 we read, "if any man serve me, let him follow me;and where i am,there shall also my servant be;if any man serve me,him will my father honour." if you have chosen to services- then the father will honour you. expect victory in every situation simply because you know that you are the object of Gods affection. receive Gods love for you and see for yourself as HIS prized treasure- because you are.
